1 hour monster

i've found this, apparently popular method for concept warm up - the one hour monster. there are quite a lot of cool pieces that come out of this exercise, so i thought i'd try my hand at it. i <3 monsters!

the purpose is to spend 15 minutes on each step:

1 monster brainstorm
2 choice and refinement
3 further refinement / environmental decisions
4 polishing / texturing, etc

laptop dead, desktop instead

yep crazy, it quit on me. mario helped me out bigtime and i was able to back up my HD, but looks like i'll be sending it off to tech people, probably to replace the processor. ugh. having no mobility is killing me.

on a side note, waking up to thunderstorms is still extremely relaxing and amazing. ahhhh...
